Jeb Dunnuck – 2018 Tendril Extrovert Pinot Noir

A jeweled ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir Extrovert is ripe and floral with lush, pure aromas of wild red raspberry liqueur, pressed roses, and a touch of cinnamon candy. Refined on the palate, with fine, juicy tannins and fresh acidity, as well as a good finish, it’s more approachable now, although the vintage certainly lends more structure. Drink this now or over the next 6-8 years.

James Suckling – 2018 Tendril Extrovert Pinot Noir

This has attractive aromas of ripe plums, dark raspberries, orange zest, toasted hazelnuts and black licorice. Bay leaves, too. It’s bright and energetic, with a medium body and tight-grained tannins. Drink or hold.

NW Wine Report – 2018 Tendril Extrovert Pinot Noir

Critic’s Choice – 2018 was a generous, giving vintage in Willamette Valley. We see that here. The aromas charm, with notes of thistle, cherry, graphite, and dried orange rind. A full-flavored palate follows, with juicy, rich, but balanced flavors. There’s lovely intensity and layering. Black tea notes linger on the finish. 14.1% alcohol. 230 cases produced. TCA-free microagglomerative cork
