2019 Tendril Enchanter Chardonnay
Tasting Notes
Enchanter is our flagship Chardonnay that we think is particularly well named. The Enchanter has citrus aromas and flavors of green apples and pears. The Enchanter’s rich texture comes from 16 months’ aging in mostly neutral oak and is complemented by considerably bright acidity that keeps one reaching for the next sip.
Pairings
Linguini with white clam sauce, sautéed halibut, Dungeness crab, and triple-crème cheese

Jeb Dunnuck – 2019 Tendril Enchanter Chardonnay
A brilliant straw color, the 2019 Chardonnay Enchanter is barrel-fermented with low levels of new oak and offers aromas of orange blossom, golden apple, and delicate baking spice. Medium to full-bodied, it’s juicy with fruit and a nice bit of salinity through the mid-palate and reveals notes of lemon curd on the finish along with warming spice. It’s drinking well now and will do well over the next 6-8 years.

Wine Enthusiast – 2019 Tendril Enchanter Chardonnay
This supple Chardonnay offers comice pear, lemon and butter aromas, with bits of rosemary and filberts in the background. The wine’s creamy texture, bright acidity and velvety tannins go with flavors like guava, basil and a lemon tart with a graham cracker crust. Enchanting, indeed.
